Reading Celebration Day!

What an amazing day for a reading celebration!

We started the day reading in our p.j.'s with our stuffed animals!

Even our stuffed animals loved to listen to us read!

Then we traveled to see many special guest readers throughout the day. We started with Mrs. Vandenberg!

Then Mrs. Cobb read us a book!

Mrs. VanDyke read a story about spilt milk. We have all had that happen to us before:)

Mr. DeLeeuw read a story called, Everyone Needs a Rock.

Mrs. Ward read us The True Story of the Three Little Pigs on the document camera. It was like watching a movie!

Mrs. Eshleman read us a story about Berloiz the Bear!

Mrs. DeBoer read us one of our favorite books, The Giving Tree!

Then....we read the book, Thundercake by Patricia Pollacco and we actually ate Thundercake! It was soooooo good!

Mrs. Smith read us a story by Eric Carl about Feathers!

Mrs. Newhof read us the story about Harold and his purple crayon! This was one of the best days we had in first grade! We love to read and listen to books read to us!
