Word Work

Word work is such a fun reading choice! It is really important to increase our stamina in word work as well as listen to reading and read to self. Word Work helps us to be better at reading, spelling, finding chunks and most of all...it's fun!

 We move our magnet to the choice we would like to do. We get to do all three reading choices each day. It has been great to be able to make the decision on our own for which choice we will be doing. Next week, there will be four choices!

Inside the word work bag is a container of play dough and a golf tee. We can write our words in the play dough. There is also a bunch of wiki sticks. These are so much fun to build words with because they are bendable and stay in the shape you put them in.
