Halloween Fun!

We had so much fun at our Halloween Party!

During the day, we wrote wanted signs for our made up monsters!

Monsters on the loose!

After we wrote our wanted poster, we shared them with our class.  

Some of us wrote two pages full of information about where to find the monster!

During our party, we made pumpkins. 

We also played Halloween BINGO!

We played a game where you had to put on as many dress up clothes as you could and run back to the starting line in one minute.

VIP Breakfast!

Thank you to all the grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and friends that came to VIP Day! We enjoyed being able to show you around our school as well as our classroom.

Writer's Spotlight on....Nala!

Nala has such a great skill in writing! Her goal has been to add details and dialogue! Check out her story!

I was going to my nana's home right at the time I got to the door of her house front step, I knew this is going to be a good time at nana's house!

Then my nana asked, "do you need help with your bag." I said, "Yes!"

My nana put the pizza in the microwave. I smelled the pizza warming up, "Mmmmm," I said. It smelled so good I almost wanted to run in the kitchen and take the pizza out of it. 

Last, we went to bed. I was so tired because I watched a long movie. I watched two me and my sister Destiny went to sleep. There was wind going like this whooooooo. I was so scared!

Writer's Spotlight....Brady!

Brady has been working on the goal of adding details to his writing! He is well on his way to adding more details to his stories!

I got on the dirt mountain and I played on the dirt mountain and my brother call me over to see Mrs. Anderson and I saw her house. 

I saw Mrs. Anderson's house.

Mrs. Anderson talked to me.

I saw Mrs. Anderson and she talk to me and I went back to the dirt mountain.

Writer's Spotlight on......Luke!

I was in my back yard. I was with my sister and my mom and dad. We are playing soccer. 

Then my dad kicked it over my head. Way over my head. Then we went inside.

Then I went in my moms bed room. I brought my kindle. 

Then I got my kindle again. Then I went to bed.

Luke has worked so hard at adding details! He had great handwriting and remembers to put his letters on the lines correctly! Great job Luke!
