Writer's Spotlight on.....Alivia T!

Alivia T!
Alivia is a fabulous writer! She is always trying each new strategy that is taught! Way to go Alivia!

How To Ride A Bike

I think you would like it but maybe not, so let's give it a try!

First, you need a person. then you need a bike.
Next, push off. You do it with your feet!
Then, you start pushing your feet around and around. Warning: don't go too fast!
Finally, you ride and ride the bike. Why we are doing this, because once you will become like me and you can go fast.

Check out Alivia's flaps! We use these to add on to our steps to make sure they are clear and precise!

Writer's Spotlight on...Peyton!

Peyton

Peyton has done a wonderful job writing an introduction and conclusion for his how to this week! He also has detailed pictures that teach his reader what to do! Great job Peyton!

Have you ever built a house on Minecraft? If you tap, that is where it goes. If you touch something for a long time, it goes away.

You need a red wool, glass, bedrock, granite, door, bed, and stone stairs.

First, you put three bedrocks and one granite down.

Next, you add red wool on top until it's one higher than the door.

Then, minus three red wools and add stairs and make sure it's stone stairs.

I hope you enjoy your house. I bet it's cool. You can add cool pictures.

Writer's Spotlight on....Kaiden!

Kaiden is doing such a fabulous job of adding specific and clear directions for his readers. I am sure someone would love to play UNO after reading this! Way to go Kaiden!

How to play UNO.

First, you get people and cards.

Second, you shuffle the cards.

Third, you pass the cards to the people. Give everyone seven cards.

Last, you play the game. Each player takes a turn or plays the same color or number. The game is over when someone's cards are gone.

Polar Express Day, School Families Christmas Party and Gingerbread Houses!

Welcome to the Polar Express!

We had so much fun reading The Polar Express and comparing it to the movie today!

We had hot chocolate, just like the kids in the movie!

We loved to add marshmallows!

We even were able to wear our pajamas during the day!

Today during school families, we came to the gym to sing carols! This was such a special time to be together as a school family and celebrate the holidays!

Miss Paasman played the piano and Mr. Barry helped lead us with each song.

Then, we were able to make and decorate our gingerbread houses!

We had so much fun using all our decorating candy and frosting to make the perfect gingerbread house!

I would want to spend the night in this house;)

Then we were able to have a snack. We did a good job decorating our gingerbread houses and NOT eating them:)

Yum!

 Check out those smiles!!!
