Writer's Spotlight on...Addison!

Dear Mrs. DeGroot,

I think the school should have more bathrooms. My first reason is when kids come from the lunchroom they is a big line in the bathroom. Kids may have an accident. My second reason is kids have to wait to long. My third reason is it is a long time to use the...

bathroom. Example, I saw kids taking drinks when kids shouldn't. A solution, you can make the bathrooms bigger. That's why the bathrooms should be bigger.
Addison

This amazing girl has turned into a fabulous writer! Check out her persuasive letter!

Writer's Spotlight on...Sierra!

Sierra is a wonderful writer! She uses her touch organizer to help her with persuasive writing!

Here is Sierra's touch organizer for persuasive letter writing! This helps us make sure we have all the parts of our letters!

Dear Mom,
I think that we should have a bunny. My first reason is that I would feed it. I will put it to sleep. My third reason is that I will put it in a tank. That is why I think that we need a bunny.

My solution is that I will let my sisters help. My examples is that I saw a person being mean to an animal before.
Sincerely,

Sierra

Dear Dad,
I think I should have a new driveway. My first reason is I will keep the driveway clean. My second reason is I will not trash your stuff in the driveway. My third reason is I will not put my bike in the driveway. That is why I want a new driveway.
Your boy happy, David

Writer's Spotlight on...Anniston!

Anniston is including dialogue and feelings into her writing!

We are driving to Braya's barn. I am so excited to see my friend Braya!

I was laying my sleeping bag out and after I could play.

We had to come in to see the movie, but we could play after.
I said to my friend Braya, "I like this movie." I even got popcorn. I got candy too!

Writer's Spotlight on....Reece!

Reece is such a fabulous writer! He adds great details to his writing!
First, I went to the deer farm. My brother thought that he was lost but he looked back. Then he saw us.

Then I fed a albino deer. This is fun!

Then I wen out of the shop.

Last, I went home. I felt good. We saw a hot dog place. It was fluffy.

Writer's Spotlight on...Noah!

Noah is doing such a great job adding words to each of his pages! Way to go Noah!

I was with my grandpa and my dad and we're getting ice cream. I had my one banana split. "Yummy."

Me and my dad went to the bathroom because we can get food and we had so many waffles we were full.

I went past the school. It was close to the Little Dipper. I stopped by the school. It was fun riding my bike to the Little Dipper but it hurt my back.

We went back home. We were swinging on my swing set at my house. My dad built the swing set at my house. I helped him.

Writer's Spotlight on....Alexis!

Writer's Spotlight on...Alexis! Awesome job zooming into your small moment!

We were going to Michigan's Adventure. We got in line. It was not very long. It was very short.

We got in line for the photo booth. It was very short. It was not long.

We got on the ride. I put my seatbelt on. Then I put my hands up.

It went side to side. If felt like I was going to throw up. But I didn't.

Writer's Spotlight on...Teagan!

I was going on the hay ride. My mom said, "Are you sure?" "I am sure." I said. I am with my friend and I am sure mom.

I screamed and someone jumped up on the hay ride wagon. I was scared and I wanted to go back to the camper.

It was almost done. It was almost done. I was happy.

I was scared. "I want to get out and get out," I screamed. My mom I called, "I want to go." We were going back to the camp ground.

Teagan always remember to capitalize I when it is by itself!
