This year we will be making gingerbread houses for our Christmas Party at school. In order to do this, we will need your help with supplies! We will need LOTS of graham crackers and white frosting (the kind that is pre-made in the plastic tubs). In addition to this, we will need candy to decorate our houses with -licorice, gumdrops, candy canes, peppermints, and anything else that will help us decorate! The dollar store is a great place to pick up some of these items. If you are willing to donate any of these items, please send them to school any time between now and Wednesday, December 18th. Thank you so much for your help!

Writer's Spotlight on Chase!
First, I was at a toad racing contest. The person made the frog jump. The next person was up. And the next person, it was my friend Trent's turn. Then it was my turn.
Way to go Chase! Awesome transition words and great use of dialogue!
Next, Trent got first place. I got second place. It was my first try.
Then, what I got third place, Carter said, "It's still special."
Finally, Denny held the toad. The toad that Denny held was the winning toad.
Super U Challenge Assembly
We had an exciting assembly on Monday!
The Super U Challenge team taught us about Respect and Responsibility.
We couldn't wait to see what kind of challenges they would have us do. |
The red team and blue team had to dress in the super U gear as fast as they could! We learned about taking care of our school and the people in it.
Ava was picked to do the next challenge. She had to walk backwards while balancing these blocks with her partner. She couldn't use her other hand!
We cheered them on!
Then, both teams had to pass these super slippery objects to each other while the person at the end held them all in their hands! They were dropping them all over!
Vince and Lillie were chosen to do the Super U Slime Challenge! Vince was not scared at all!
Here is the blue team!
OH no Vince! Watch out.....!
We learned about trusting each other and made a promise to treat others kindly so as not to hurt anyone's feelings.
Way to go Vince!
